We are so excited to be in our new location! Congratulations to our new promotees; Elise and Elizabeth both earned their blue belts and Taylor, Nick and Josh earned their purple belts!
We’re going to have a great future together at this new location, in this newest chapter of our growing family!
Last weekend we had 2 competitors test their meddle at IBJJF Nogi Pans! Blue belt, Nicholas Riley and Professor Alex Henley both competed in their divisions (Master 1 blue belt and Master 3, respectively).
Nicholas Riley won silver in his blue belt division, which was also his blue belt debut as well as IBJJF debut!
Professor Alex won his first match with a quick hip bump sweep to a mounted Kimura, Then lost his second match by penalty.
Both competitors are already looking to the next competition!
Gabriel Hansell and Micah Scarbrough were both promoted to BLACK BELT under Professor Alex Henley, with the support of 3rd degree black belt, Professor Brian Marvin out of Renzo Gracie Houston
Additionally, our very own WORLD CHAMP, Kerri Sullivan, was promoted to BROWN BELT after going undefeated in her purple belt competition career. Congrats, Coach Kerri!!
Finally, one of our newer members, Lloyd Dixon, was promoted to BLUE BELT after 2+ years as a white belt. Lloyd just dominated his very tough NAGA division a few weeks ago for gold, so this was very deserved.
