Walt Holder – Boxing / BJJ Instructor

Prior to joining Insight, Walt Holder’s training focused primarily on striking, boxing in particular.  Roughly from 2003 to 2009, Walt trained with a fight team focused on MMA, boxing, and Muay Thai events.  Walt assisted in getting fighters ready for their upcoming fights, both as a trainer and sparring partner.  When a group of Insight teens decided they wanted to train in boxing, Walt agreed to set some time aside to teach them the fundamentals of striking, footwork, movement, and balance.  Before long, the Saturday boxing class became official and is now part of the Insight schedule on a weekly classes.
